Speech Recognition coming to Garmin Nuvi's?

I saw some information that leads me to believe the next generation of Garmin units will be receiving speech recognition software. In that, rather then pressing buttons on the screen, you press a button and tell it what you want to do

I've always wanted to have a 2-way conversation with that Aussie gal

That would be a great feature. My car's nav system is this way. You press a button on the steering wheel and have full control of the audio, phone, and navigation system. I am surprised at how well it works.

I cannot say how soon it will be here, but I can say I discovered an egg on Garmin's site about it even, go compare some units and tell me if you can find it

I'd say that's a good indication! It looks like another oops by Garmin's web team. I wonder if that new Colorado will have it. I didn't notice when I saw the Google cache of the page.

Looks like it was announced at CES. Nuvi 800 has voice recognition. Might be other models as well.
