| Map Update 2008
I had purchased my nuvi 660 in August 2007, and it had 2008 on it. I got on the Garmin site and registered, and asked for the FREE UPDATE when it came out. I also wanted the CD instead of downloading it. I received it around September 20th. There were many address that I had tried to get of friends that were in new subdivions that were not on the 2008 map. After I installed the UPDATE I have been able to find all of them. I would encourage anyone that has purchased the nuvi 660 recently to get their FREE update of 2008 maps. |

I've had my 660 for almost a year but I checked anyway on the My Garmin site. They want $69.99 for the update. That is cool they offer free updates if you just bought one!

Yes, I got a FREE update. Now the next time I want a update I will have to pay.
